Knowing what will look good

Over the years, I've installed every type of tile in every situation - so I know what will look good in your home. I can advise you on the tile material and design before you choose and buy your tiles, and I can suggest options that you probably won't have considered.

Here's an example - this client wanted to use the original tile pattern in her Victorian house. This has a repeating mosaic with a white border. But there was a problem - doorways and furniture would have ruined the effect of the border in this particular hallway. Instead, I suggested to her that the border tile should be used to make the central design feature, which perfectly fits the size and shape of the hallway.

I also used a composite mosaic tile, which was around 50% cheaper than the original tiles. Result - an affordable and beautiful tiled floor perfectly in keeping with the character of the house and setting.
