Mosaic

These are small tiles which combine to give an attractive pattern. Available in a wide variety of designs, they often incorporate a variation in the individual tiles which gives a less uniform, more informal appearance.

Mosaic tiles can be used in lots of different ways - for example, they are really effective as a border to a tiled wall. They add colour and vibrancy to an installation, and they are often cheaper than border tiles, too.

A vertical panel of mosaics looks great in a long wall or in an alcove - it serves to break up long runs of tiles or to highlight architectural features.
