Wet Rooms and Tanking
Tanking is the full waterproofing of a bathroom for the installation of wetrooms. I can install this for you, to whatever extent you require. You can also fit underfloor heating in a wet room - this is completely sealed and safe, and a great option to consider.
Tanking - the tanking forms a waterproof skin under the tiles, which prevents leaks for the life of the installation. I use advanced adhesive systems to ensure complete waterproofing.
How far to go?
Full wet rooms are popular - but it's worth thinking about whether you really want to have a complete wet room or just a larger wet area. Complete wet rooms look good on makeover programmes, but are not always the most practical format to use. Some clients have changed their mind after discussing the options, ending up with a more comfortable bathroom and saving money into the bargain!
